Contract 3G connection basically never works

I've had this contract on uncapped Lite for R299 a month for almost a year now. It's completely useless: it basically never works!

At home I get low, low speeds with intermittent connectivity, and when I take it to work with me (in Braamfontein), I get practically no connection at all. I'm talking about ping timeouts, not even slowness, for hours at a time.

So, basically, I am paying for a service and not receiving it. MTN helpline has been useless, and when I speak to anyone in a store, they say "call 808", which doesn't help me at all. MTN are just ripping me off, taking my money for nothing.

I am a web developer/programmer, how the heck am I supposed work without an internet conneciton??
