Utstanding way to keep a customer. Step One- make no exceptions regarding a TWO WEEK turnaround time, rather make the customer waste his/her time. Step Two-Ensure that the customer waits at least 45 minutes before he /she is able to check the phone in for repairs at the halfway house repair center. Step 3-Claim water damage, and give a projected repair cost of ZAR5400.00. Customer hopefully just walks away, which is fine because MTN have him/her tied into a contract, so he/she will have to get another phone... However, this soon to be ex-customer went to [URL Removed] in strydom park, left the phone there at 4pm, and picked it up again at 2pm... the NEXT day, and was charged ZAR250 for the repair. From Mr Facebook MTN..." I am very sorry about this and I apologize for the poor service you have received. We appreciate you as a customer and we do not want to lose you. If there is anything else that you need assistance with then please let me know". Mahala?? Please... what a joke. Perhaps you guys should consider a jolly roger as a logo... although pirates had better ethics...
