I ordered a black samsung S4 on contract with Cell C Direct. Yesterday I received a white S4. Phindiwe took my order in which I asked for a black phone and she ordered it. However, she doesn't know how to rectify this very complicated problem. Customer care throws us back and forth. Only got a response after I complained on Twitter and then my problem was forgotten. Today I called Head Office who had to listen to the phone conversation that was recorded when I placed my order and alas I had ordered a black which Phindiwe was aware of. Cell C now has told me that they need to investigate this matter with Phindiwe, they have no concern about me and the fact that I am an unhappy customer sitting with a phone I don't want. They told me I cannot just go to a Cell C store and exchange it for black as my phone might be damaged but I haven't opened it so basically they sent me a damaged phone? Also, the fact that they needed to investigate whether I ordered a black or white like I? Is that customer service? Up till today, no one cares that I am unhappy and Cell C is gladly taking my money. I moved to Cell C from Vodacom and already regret it. Stick with other networks.
