For the last 3 moths consecutively my cell phone bill has been increasing outrageously. According to my contract I have 200 minutes, 200 sms' and 500mb data every month for R399 p/m. I dont use close to 200 minutes or 200 sms' as my bill clearly shows. Nor can I be using all 500mb as I am constantly on WiFi connection throughout the day and night and I manually switch off all data services and location services so that I cannot be using data services should my WiFi connection be lost at any time. My bill constantly shows that my internet usage is the main cause of my outrageous bill amounts, although this is clearly impossible. I went to the Norwood Cell C branch who contact the technical department and customer care departments to escalate the issue and both time each consultant informed me that I am on a pre-paid contract and that my WiFi has been; both cases being utter rubbish. I am not on prepaid and my WiFi is not only completely secure, but I am not paying Cell C for my WiFi! The level of ignorance is amazing! The store manager has given me a formal letter expressing her understanding and frustration in the matter and I formally request Cell C assist me with this query.
