On Monday 22 July 2013 I purchased a modem at Westgate Mall, Mitchells Plain. Shamiela tried to activate it but found the sim card faulty. She contacted the call centre and they confirmed the sim card needed to be replaced. She promised to escalate it as I am too receive 75mb free on the sim card and advised she will contact me the next day.
After no call from Shamiela on the Tuesday I went back to MTN the Wednesday - one person said she was on lunch and another said she was in a meeting. At that point I realised how unprofessional the staff at MTN is. People hear what I say and walk away without saying what they will be doing. On top of that they call Shamiela and she informs her collegues that she gave me everything I needed. I left my number again with her collegue and asked that Shamiela call me back on the same day still. And of course she did not bother too contact me.

How am I suppose too check a modem without a SIM card - and it has a 7 day return policy.
I find the service at your Westgate Mall branch too be the worst I have ever experienced.
