Next day delivery of upgrades - False advertising?

I upgraded my Vodacom contract and ordered a Samsung Galaxy S4 online because of the convenience as well as the supposed "next day delivery". I spoke to a consultant via the Vodacom Online Chat functionality who advised that there is no stock of this handset and I should phone 082 1958/9 and cancel my upgrade whereafter he could assist me further. After speaking to consultants on both the 082 1958/9 support lines both advised me that Vodacom would deliver the handset between 3-7 working days. These information is not communicated to the general public, not even through the terms and conditions for the next day service is mention maded of this period. The only exception to the Service is for addresses within an "Outlying Area" which I highly doubt Illovo is. I find it highly disturbing that promises are being made for which there are clearly no intentions of fulfilling
