Annual renewal came up and I wanted the iPhone. The agent at Nashua Mobile in Sandton, suggested I wait a week to see new Samsung S4. She went through the various Vodacom bundles, given that I was moving from a Blackberry and didn't want to pay more than what I was already paying on my BB contract. Next week, new agent I was assisgned to was incompetent and I had to even advise her which package given my normal useage. She had to ask a colleague for the details. She asked if I wanted the phone activated and I agreed. I did not get a copy of my contract at the time and just did an electronic signature and verified the actual contract cost on her sceen. I was told the contract would be emailed, a week later I enquired at the store, they said the contract would come with my statement. My statement came with a wopping bill of R5, 486, no contract! On enquiry with call centre and with store manager Charlotte, I evidently had to give a month's notice on the BB contract before changing to new contract. I was never informed and no alternative option was given. After a week Charlotte came back and said the agent told me, I asked for this in writing, nothing!? CPA, hello??
