MTN breaks my phone now I must suffe

I took my 6 month old Blackberry handset to MTN Woodlands Boulevard in Pretoria for a software upgrade and battery problem. A week later i found out that MTN had broken the phone. Somewhere between the store and their technical centre someone broke the phone.

After much struggle of trying to get feedback and to find out what MTN plans to do about this since it was their error. Clara Pieterse the manager of the store tells me that MTN will be giving me a refurbished phone. MTN has no respect what so ever for the customers. How do they break my phone, put me through so much hassle to get feedback and then say they will give me a refurbished phone?

I have told them a million times that they must either give me my phone back in the condition i brought it in, if they cant they can then either fix it, replace it with a new phone or give me my money back that I bought the phone with.

MTN's service has been worse than horrific, its been a nightmare. They think they can just sweep this under the carpet as they usually do. A customer should not suffer for errors made my MTN this is very unfair, this is very cheap they need to read up on consumer rights as well as what customer service.
