My Contract Was Cancelled

Around 2011, i took out a cell c contract that I had problems with for months on end and eventually, I was informed that the contract was cancelled after the billing was wrong from the word go. For the past two years I have not been receiving any statements, no payment reminders, to prove that I did not have any payment reminders which proved that Cell C was done and I was done with them. Today, I received an SMS from Cell C lawyers stating that I need to pay my Cell C account. WHAT??? I called the company and I was advised that CellC has handed me over to their lawyers because I owe them R3600. I need explanations for these allegation. You need to understand that my name is on the loop and could get blacklisted for credit I do not even know!
