Threatening To Cut Off Phone

On the 1st of this month I received a SMS saying that if I did not pay my account immediately my phone would be cut off. This on the day that my account was due for payment. I duly paid my account on the 1st which I normally do. What I don't like is the attitude. I have had my account with them for approx. 13 years in which time I have always paid timeously and have never had my phone line cut off. How dare they threaten me in such a way. In addition to this, I received another SMS saying that they had cut the line although it continued to operate as normal. On contacting them I was told, without an apology, that they had computer problems.
A while back I wanted a data bundle for approx. R 90pm. For this they wanted 3 months bank statements, payslips etc despite my track record with them. All this when I get phone calls from competitors practically every day saying that I prequalify for new contracts etc.
This company is seriously lacking in business sense.
