I have contacted Vodacom customer care a few times now and to date I have only had bad experience.

Today I was sitting with a client of mines' laptop and needed to find out about modem support on Windows 8, I sent a mail to their customer care and probably won't hear from them like in the past. After that I tried to use their live chat and got Bradley Allan. Response is very slow, he had to check with the Data guys and advise me. When asked how long this will take he couldn't say for sure. When I asked if this was going to be like all my other times trying to get support from their customer care where the call or issue just get ignored and while still typing he ended the chat. Probably wrong question.

I deal with a lot of people in customer care from different networks as I do this for a living, I'm almost at the point of not accepting any work that involves Vodacom customer care because it's just too much of an issue and the people are there to collect salary and not to help people. They have a flowchart with answers and if you don't have the right problem one that's on the flowchart, they can't help.

Enough please, go get people that want to work
