Keeping on debiting for a cancelled mobile contrac

On 5 April 2012 I was due for an upgrade on my contract, but the phones available was not really to my liking and I was then advised by the vedor (Virgin Mobile Tygervalley shopping centre, Bellville) that I would have to give notice on the existing cantract and take out a new contract with a new mobile number. The notice period runs for 2 months paralell to the new contract and will then fall away. However, I had been debited as if I had taken out another contract ongoing. After various telephonic attempts to get this stopped it eventaully stoppen in March 2013 only. Hence for at least 8 months after the original contract was supposedly cancelled, have I paid for both contracts running alongside each other. If I could send back the debit order I would have, but Virgin mobile is clever enough to bill you with one account and debit order for all your accounts with them and this would jeopardise my usage of the new contract if I were to return the debits on my account. I have been in touch with Virgin Mobile on numerous occasion and get passed on from cancelations to accounts departments and everyone is just passing the buck. Al I want is to be refunded for the overpaid monies
