MTN Coverage is Dying in North Riding, JHB

I have just about had it with MTN's pathetic poor excuse for Customer Service & Coverage. I wish for MTN to use its marketing / advertising budget and re-allocate it to your coverage department, which will be an INVESTMENT rather than looking to "outdo the competition" if you cannot even sustain your existing customer base in South Africa.

My entire MTN "bouqet" of contracts if you will, has been a shambles since yesterday afternoon with NO VOICE capability on our phones, nor access to a stable & reliable data connection. Not even GPRS which is the stone age, last resort / "backup" if you will.

Now being in an area without landlines where we as hard-working citizens are forced to make use of cellular networks, where to now MTN?? It takes your "Coverage Help Desk" 96 hours as a norm to respond to a query - Complaint Ref # 6805750 submitted this morning.

This means I will have to hope for an answer by Thursday/Friday? This is ludicrous. Is MTN going to reimburse me for the "downtime" to your network? Why should I pay for a service that does not work?

I rely on my voice and data connection for income. Can I institute a loss of income for your incompetence?
