I went to MTN The Glen branch on the 4th of July 2013 to do an early cancellation of my contract. I requested that they transfer my phone number to pre-paid. On Friday my line was disconnected, I went to MTN at Melrose Arch & I was told that I needed to Rica my phone as I was moving to a per-paid platform, the consultant told me that my phone will work within 2-24 hours which didn't happen. I called 808 on Sat & was told that my line was deactivated, that I should go to any MTN branch & request them to contact retentions department & ask them to activate this number again & then sign a migration to pre-paid form so that my number can be migrated. I went to MTN the Glen branch & was told to come back on Mon so we can call retentions department. On Mon the 8th I went back to The Glen branch & the consultant called the call centre and was advised to send the Email to [Email Removed] to request activation and I signed the migration form as advised. On the 9th I called 808 and was told they have mysteriously lost my no. I have been using this number for the past 16 yrs! i have lost a lot of business cause of this rubbish I'm absolutely frustrated with MTN
