BAD SERVICE AND LACK OF RESPONSE

On the 14th January I upgraded my phone and received my phone on Thursday 16th Jan. I was advised that I should call in as soon as i receive my SIM so that they could do a sim swap and transfer my info on the old normal sim card onto the new micro sim (new phone's requirement).

This is exactly what i did and i spoke to a consultant who told me that they had put through the request for the Sim swap and it would take 2-24hrs to process. 24hrs later i called as my service was still not working on the phone, and Nobuhle tells me the activation was done on the wrong number, but she can fix it and she'd call me back on that very same day (Friday morning 18 January 2014). I called on Saturday to follow-up but no one could help me as the Retention department closes at 14:00 on a Sat and don't open on a Sunday and only they could help me no one else in the entire company.

Today is Monday, i have been holding on the line for 29:45 mins now and my call has still not been taken by the Retentions department.

I am stuck with a phone that has no connection, a network company that doens't seem to be interested in my problem and are just not willing to help.

REALLY??! MTN!!! AAARGH!
