I had an existing Cell C prepaid account that was ported over from another provider.
I then requested a new contract at Cell C and requested that the same number be used.
I received my new handset and a new Micro Sim on Friday 5/7/2013.
I could not connect to the Cell C network and waited till Saturday since they mentioned that it might take up to 24 hours to activate, when I tried phoning on Saturday I received a message that they only activate during the week office hours. On Monday 8 July I phoned since a new number was allocated to my new contract.
At 16:00 on Monday they switched of my main number which I requested not to go down as this number is used for my business. I phoned and was told that this would now take another 24 hours and was told thay would send it as a emergency and it should be sorted before 18:00 (Call center worker told me that this is when they close for the day) I phoned back later only to be told that they actually close at 17:00.
, still not working - main phone line off, 2 new numbers. If this is not sorted out by 10:00 I will close my account.
