Bad Service and Attitude

On 11 January 2013 @ 16:52 I upgraded my Cell C Contract at the River Square Cell C Store. I got home and started transferring the numbers from my old phone to the new Blackberry 9320. The handset however kept on switching off and then rebooting by itself. On Saturday morning (12 January 13) My wife took the phone back to the store and asked for a replacement. She was told that the phone had to be booked in and that we would be without a phone for 72 working hours!!! She conveyed this message to me and I decided to phone customer care. I was told that the store had to replace the phone or alternatively, cancel the upgrade. I phoned the store and was put through to the Owner/Manager who started yelling at me stating that the lady at customer care could replace the phone seeing that he wouldn't do it. I dropped the phone because I wouldn't tollerate his verbal abuse any longer. It has now been 6 working days (10 days - weekends included) and I have had one response - I have to contact the store should my network problem prevail??? No one can tell me where the phone is or what is happening! I have more call reference numbers than there are account numbers at ABSA!!! that help me zero!
