I have tried to cancel my Cell C USB contract first because I could get no reception, then because it took a technician longer than 4 weeks to call me to fix it. I'm an entrepreneur and rely on internet for my work. I also can't spend hours chasing technicians to fix it. When a technician finally did call, I said there was no point in coming round as I had made up my mind I wanted to cancel the contract. However, I told him if his coming round was a step in the process, he should come, but I asked him to check with his superior about this. He said he would call back. He never DID. I later got a message that Cell C would not cancel my contract. They said I had refused entry to the technician. He had come anyway and tested the connection in front of my house. Firstly, I never denied entry, secondly, THE POINT IS CELL C TOOK OVER 4 WEEKS TO DEAL WITH THE ISSUE. Thirdly, a connection on a sunny day was most likely fine. However I can't run my business only on sunny days - connection is poor in poor weather. Cell C: you fabricate the facts for your convenience. CANCEL THIS CONTRACT AS YOU CAN'T DELIVER AN INTERNET SERVICE, NEITHER CAN YOU BE BOTHERED TO FIX PROBLEMS WHEN THEY ARISE.
