Vodacom
Wrongfully charged for BIS on iPhone contract

Telecommunications

Upgrade my contract earlier in 2013 from a Blackberry Talk 240 to a iPhone 240.

My account was higher than expected, and during May I was shocked to realize that I am still charged for BIS (Blackberry service) R59 per month.

I went to Secunda's Vodacom Branch, and they were able to cancel the BIS, but said I needed to contact Highveld malls branch in order to get a refund for the unnecessary charges.

Phoning Vodashop Highveld Mall on 0136971129 for help is impossible, as the answering service only allows option 3 (repairs) and 4 (cellphone related queries), and the persons answering could never supply the correct contact number for Vodashop Highveld Mall. I emailed the branch with no reply.

On Saturday 22 June, I travelled the 100km's to Witbank and were told that
1. they could not refund the amount on my account
2. the assistant manager (Monique) will find out who was responsible for my upgrade and then get the money ready for collection at their branch. (even though I don't live close by it will be the only way to repay me)
3. She would call me that week with more information.

I still have no feedback after 2 weeks and feel dissatisfied with the lack of assistance.
