Phone delivery promise bot kept

I chose my phone via a phone call with the cell c upgrade call centre. I was told the phone would reach me in port elizabeth on Friday. Its thursday afternoon and I call to check on the status... the phone has not even left yet!! I have promised my old hand set to a family member who cannot afford a new phone. Now I have to tell them 'sorry cell c to me' this is rude and disgusting. Don't make a promise if you can't keep it!! Bad bad bad service and not to mention how rude the consultant I spoke to previously was!
