Someone use my details and open account at mtn cell- contract. Mtn did not do a proper credit check, they just give credit to anyone. Firstly the cell phone was delivered in pretoria and I am living in cape town my work number dealing code is 021 and not 012, secondly if they did a credit check the address do not match. Mtn tell me how a person open account without payslip, without I'd and without proof of address. Mtn there a problem which you Mtn is a threat to the consumers. Mtn, when they could not get hold of me because the account is in arreas they hand it over to a incompetent debt collecting company. The point is that if mtn does not resolve this matter I will approach the court to intervene becuase mtn online procedure can lead to. I will advise Mtn to call me asap cause my credit record is not looking good.
