4 months ago i went to SC Vodacom customer care center to get the IMEI number of my phone, whilst i was there, i asked the lady to cancel my contract as it was ending on the 8th of May, she called cancellations and said that it would be cancelled in may, and she asked me if id like to stay on prepaid to which i said yes. Last week i saw that i was still billed for the contact in May and June, to which i went back to SC VC. i Spoke to Mark who said that they checked the system and the lady didnt cancel it but just inquired abt a cancellation. He even pointed out the lady in question and i confirmed it was her and he confirmed on his system (in the back office not at his desk as there are two systems) that she DIDNT cancel it and just inquired thereof. So in turn Mark cancelled it for me, REF: 1234385. The issue is that i still had to pay 2 months of R200 for R135 airtime at a R130 loss, and now my phone will be inactive for 1 whole day as they cancel it. i asked if i could be compensated as a good will for my losses, and the answer was no... please do me right by providing me with R130 airtime as u have proof that it was your fault that it was not cancelled.
