Account statements inconsistent service

I have 2 accounts with MTN. One is a blackberry account (paid by debit order) and the other is an iPhoen 5 account (paid by eft).
I never get my statements for the iPhone 5 account on or around the 20th of the month and find it hard to understand why. I have to trust the amount given to me on the 808 number for balance due, but have no way of disputing it or record of my monthly spending. Even my blackberry account statements are only sent to me after they have debited my account, never before and never on a regular basis.
I think I should be bale to receive my statement before making a payment so that I am aware of what I will be payingand for record purposes.
