I have Telkom ADSL at home.
Everything went very well, a lot better than Nashua Mobile, but then last year during winter my service would disappear and come back without warning.
I reported the problem, they would come out, nothing would be wrong and they would leave. So the pattern continued untill summer when the problem disappeared.
This year have been a lot worse. I reported the problem, they came out, opened their " man hole" accross the road which was full of water. The technician said he will escalate the problem, nothing happened. I escalated it myself on their website, still nothing.
I reported the same problem again on monday, it is now thursday and nobody have been out to see me.
The internet is slow and unreliable. For example, I usually use around 4 - 5 G a month, it is now the 27 th and I haven`t used 2 G`s yet. Yet when the bill comes around, no intermittant service there, they expect me to pay 100 %, not just 20 %, which is the service I`m getting from them.
Is there any other ISP available who would be more reliable during the rain season?
