I've been a MTN customer since 2001 and have not experienced network issues in the past. Over the last few months I've found that network quality and network availability has become shockingly bad.

A few months back I'd started noticing that every other night I would either lose the network signal completely or would have Edge at best and as a result was unable to do any online browsing (both personal and work use). I've lived in the same location over the last few years and thus it's not likely that my location has always had poor or limited signal. I have an HTC and my husband has an iPhone (also with MTN) and we've both had the same network issues, I don't believe this to be a phone related issue.
As of this Monday I've had limited to no signal availability for most of the working day. When there is limited signal, the calls drop within a minute. I'm unable to make or receive calls, which is directly impacting my work. Here again, I've been seated in the same Office Park and building (also in Midrand) for the last year and these issues were not experienced in the past.
I'm seriously contemplating doing an early termination of contract as this issue is extremely frustrating!
