Telkom Business ADSL are worse than useless

I have a 4MBs business ADSL line that connects to an exchange in the Germiston area. The speed isnt 4MB, s thats my first complaint but not my main one.

The line "flaps" is up for 10 minutes, then down for 30 seconds, then up for 40 minutes, down for 30, then up for 10 etc.

This means that any large downloads or uploads are impossible to download. In a business like this is crucial we a) send Customers large files b) download updates or any other large file.

I have contacted them on about 10 occasions in the last 4 weeks and each time Ive explained the problem. They say they, ve fixed it but they havent.

When I went on their website and escalated it I got a call back about a speed complaint!!! When I explained the problem I was told "oh that exchange is old, as we add users the problem will get worse"... huh?
