Urgent query completely ignored

My phone has been unable to make any outgoing calls for the past 2 weeks.
On Thursday 20 June, i went to Autopage in the glen to try and sort out the problem, the consultant, Jeremy, told me that he sent my complaint to MTN, however after 5 days I have yet to receive any word about the progress of my issue.
Today at around 15:00 when I called Autopage, Jeremy answered the phone and after requesting an update on my enquiry, he stated that he had to leave the store to see a customer and would be unable to help me with my problem.
I believe that this is completely unprofessional, as I had to ASK him to forward my query to someone else. I am extremely unhappy and would like to see my query resolved with either Autopage or MTN as soon as possible. As I feel uncomfortable not being able to make any calls, even voicemail and customer service are unreachable.
I hope that this kind of service delivery is not common among Autopage customers.
