Cell C
How can this be... need to look into department

I received a sms on Friday 21 June 2013 from a dept collection agency informing me that Cell C as handed my account over due to it not being paid. My first reaction was shock followed by RAGE, as the contract that I had with then was cancelled in April of 2011 after struggling about a year to get it cancelled, and was done so after Hello Peter posts, posts on their FB page and the 'Tell Trevor" site. After all this things started happening and the contract was cancelled and a R300.00 refund was paid to me. When I phoned the legal dept. the lady told me she saw that the refund was issued and that the account was opened again with a R300.00 balance and that this is the balance due. So from April 2011 till date there was R 300.00 owed by me on a account that was suppose to be closed. The lady assisting me said a query has been logged and it takes 2 to 3 days for them to get back to me. So for the whole weekend I lost sleep, fights with my wife because she saw the sms and now think I am hiding something, as well as the impact it has om my name. As I know Cell C all they are going to do is apologise for the mistake and it will be fixed. But not fix the thing in my home they caused.
