Call forward not working

My land line was out of order. The line was fixed on day 7 and since my "Call Forward" doesn't work. I have phoned 10217, got through to someone who said he will put me through to someone else that will assist. The 1st try, the line has cut out after pressing the option "1" for how many times. I tried again and was told to hold on for someone else. The person then told me the "call forward" is loaded on my line. Yes, it is loaded, but not working since they fixed my line. They told me to have it tested. I phoned again and went through the whole, Press this and press that. He then tested it and said it is loaded, I explained again that it is not working. O.k., hold on for someone else. I have started 09h30 and at 10h20 I was desperate, complaining the the next consultant after the process of getting someone on the line. He then gave me a direct number to phone and ask them to re-instate the "call forward" I did that and she re-instated the service. On testing, found it is still not working. I phoned again and she said it is re-instated, if it is not working I must phoned them and tell them to test the line/service, which means I must start all over again.
