Adsl line down for a week and still nothing done

I phoned telkom on Monday regarding my adsl line which stopped working on Friday night for no reason. I was met by a lovely lady named joy in the bloem branch. She gave me a reference number and claimed it would be fixed in two working days at most. There is a problem with the line. Since then I have heard nothing.

I called today, was on hold for 40 minutes (from my cell phone). I arrived at a lady who curtly refused to help me stating that I needed to start the process over dialing 10210 and using "1, 1, 3" to get to where I need to go. Needless to say, I mentioned that pressing "1" is for new customers. She didn't budge and told me to start over. I insisted she at least consider my reference number and she told me to dial 10210. I may as well have spoken to a robot. It was useless.

I phoned 10210 at her discretion. And what happened is it treated me like a new customer. No "1;1;3" option. Who will reimburse me for my two hours on the phone and loss of work for a week without adsl??? Who pays for a service and doesn't get it? This is an outrage and I wish someone would be helpful and tactful.
