This is a follow up article on REQ:2288043 on 13 June. Thanks for your copy paste answer on my first complaint. In the future please keep your concentration on the service recovery. After 23 days my contract has still not been activated. I've been on the phone every day since my first posting and have heard every possible excuse. The earlier excuses consisted of blame shifting to Reca. Then I had a whole host of call escalations that kept me on hold for 30min that always ended in someone dropping the call. Todays excuse is the best. They now tell me that the contract that I signed for last month, discontinued in the month that it took for them to process it and they don't know if I can still get it. To put the cherry on the top, I have already received the bill and they are making me pay for this month of. What makes this even more awesome is that I signed up for the R299p/m uncapped data deal and my bill reads R436.58. MTN, I am past the point of being mad. I have logged over 25 calls, waited 23 days, sent 10 SMS, written 5 emails, 2 Hallopeter complaints and posted 1 tweet. Please get this sorted.
