My dad has a Telkom account for many years and this is not the 1st time that the billing has been incorrect! We cancelled our ADSL as of the beginning of Jan 2013 .The ADSL line rental was cancelled from then. However he is still being billed for 5GB every month from Jan-June 2013. How can you be billed for something that has been cancelled and how can you be billed for internet when the line itself has been cancelled?? I called the callcentre yesterday and after 17 minutes, my call was eventually answered. The lady on the line was so unprofessional and unqualified to be a callcentre agent as she has no people skills. Yes i was irritated and rude (justifiably so after 17 minutes of holding on and getting someone who didnt know what was happening). When asked why it took so long for my call to be dealt with, her reply was she cant answer me and she then proceeded to give me the silent treatment till i ended the call . in addition to dealing with the billing inaccuracies, I suggest you get more call centre agents as I have called the call centre on numerous occasions and have been left waiting for prolonged periods. Preferable people who are trained in this respect!
