Need to cancel contract and can't get hold of MTN

I dialled 808 and I cannot get through to MTN. I want to stop my contract that is a week over the 24 month period. If I cannot get through and now the contract is on a month to month. Does MTN not have any operators? I cannot have a contract forever. I need assistance.
