Demand to change the cellphone unit on contract

I have a cellphone contract with MTN in Tzaneen since February 2012 and since then i have not found joy in the phone (Black berry bold 9900). Since the beginning of the contract i have had to take my phone in for repairs 4 or 5 times with the same problem. The technical service would give me a new phone every time and did not expalin what faults of the phone, which for me it is an inconvenience as I would loose all the data on the phone and fail to access my emails and instant messsages as I would loved to. The phone would just switch off and reboot itself, cut off after 3 minutes during use and could not work without being on the charger.

This has really been frustrating for me because, this time I have not been having the phone for the past two months and I still get the deduction for the phoneI dont have and the insurance.

I did not find joy form the MTN outlets when i told them that i am inconvenienced, they tell me that there is snothing they can do about it because it is a contract.

I dont not have objections to paying my bill every month but i strongly feel that i have given the phone a chance thus i want to change the hand-set to another one of the same calibre
