My cell number is on a contract under my fathers name. On Friday 7 June we went to Cellc to cancel the current contract, transfer the number to my name and open a new contract, Straight up 50 with an IPhone 5. The sales lady gave my dad the forms he needed to fill in and told me what further documents I needed to bring in which I then did later that day. She then informed me they would not be getting any more stock of IPhone 5 as the IPhone 6 is coming out! There is no IPhone 6 yet! I asked if other branches had stock and she said no. Over the weekend I enquired at other branches and they did have stock so on Monday I asked Davenport if they could get stock from another branch, they said no. They then said they had one in stock and I can come in with more forms. I had to come in a further three times as she wasn't sure what I had to bring in. Then I was told I wasn't approved for an IPhone but she couldn't give me a reason! I have a clean credit record and I certainly earn enough to pay a contract of around R400 a month! they said they would take it up with head office for me but it has been over a week and nobody can provide me with any further information!
