On Monday 3 June, I upgraded my contract online. My phone was delivered the following day without the Micro sim card! After numerous calls and emails I received the micro sim card today 10 Jun. I have been asking Vodacom to compensate me for the inconvenience of having a new phone for a week, without being able to use it! Never mind the fact that my 7 day warranty will expire today even though i have not used the phone. After speaking to many minions at Vodacom, all they could offer was excuses and apologies. when I indicated that that was no longer going to cut it, they dared to offer me 500mb of data as compensation! I am sorry but it is not acceptable for the inconvenience I had to endure! I want REAL compensation or I will insist on cancelling my contract! I keep on being thwarted by call center agents who refuse to escalate my matter higher, preferable to the CEO! After 16 yrs of being a loyal customer and enduring all manner of bad service, I have finally come to my senses. GOOD BYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE VODACOM
