MTN INSURANCE CALL CENTER USELESS

I have been trying to submit my claim for my broken phone as per MTN's service center request and have been put on hold in 20 minute intervals, on the hour since 9am this morning. Everybody I have spoken to is unhelpful and unable to let me know when the "system" will be up and running again. This is very unprofessional. I have been calling and been put on hold the entire day and no one seems to be able to help me. I have been a loyal customer for 10 years and now have decided to change service providers as MTN should definitely not be calling themselves one after today.

Note to anyone who wants to claim from MTN after their phone is damaged? Don't do it. Buy a new phone and change to Vodacom.
