Uncapped ADSL Throttling

I recently moved from Capped to uncapped 4meg line.
I noticed I was being throttled (24kb/s) near the end of May I had downloaded about 190gigs at that stage.
I wasn't happy but I accepted it.
Now from the 1st of the month I am being throttled down to 5Kb/s I am not even going to work out that percentage but it must be under 1%.

Throttling is like saying there are no water restrictions so here you go you can water your garden as much a you like but you have to use this tea spoon at night when you get home from work.

Throttling is a form of capping, there is no other way to look at it. You simply cannot download what you want it 5kb/s I am sorry it is not possible.

I read how Afrihost talks about ADSL hogs that download over 1 terabyte a month. HOW???

Come clean Afrihost you do not sell an uncapped service you sell a restricted throttled service.

How am I supposed to get my moneys worth if you restrict me to under 1 gig a day at this rate?

I believe in fair usage, so give us a figure that we can download before being throttled, at least then we have something to work with. If we use it up in the first week then we must accept that. But not after only a couple of gigs.
