Mweb Throttling on uncapped adsl

I've been a satisfied & loyal Mweb uncapped customer for 4 years now.
Not once in those 4 years have i received any warnings with regards to the company's Uncapped ADSL fair usage policy.
I noticed my home adsl has been unusable this past week - so i logged into my Mweb account & found my "Connection status: Throttled".

Not only can i not download PC games from Steam, i also cant access the eShop on my Nintendo Wii U console. None of the PCs, laptops or tablets in my household can even manage a usable connection to even browse sites such as facebook.

As a loyal Mweb customer of 4years, I'm disappointed with how unprofessionally this new acceptable use policy (AUP) was enforced. No attempt was made to even communicate this new policy to me (the customer).

I am in effect stuck with an unusable throttled uncapped adsl account, & as such - have decided to cancel my Mweb account immediately.
I've decided I'll be upgrading to a 2Meg account - & i'll be taking my business elsewhere (to Afrihost).

Extremely unprofessional & unsatisfactory customer service Mweb.
Very disappointed.
