Service at mtn of the poorest qoulity

I took out 2g contract with Mtn during May 2011 at a monthly tariff of R149-00 per month nobody notified me my contract expired they took it upon themselves to bill me at a much higher taqriff which is unfair how can companies do such things stay away from Mtn
