Call limit not updated - excessive billing

A couple of weeks ago I upgraded my son's cellphone contract and requested a call limit to be activated as I've previously had a bad experience with an "open account" and data usage. 2 weeks later I checked my account only to find an amount of R1, 400 being charged for data usage. I went back to the store and was assured by the consultant that he had requested a call limit of R50 and he would investigate the matter and get back to me. As expected there's been no feedback whatsoever. I have since had the call limit activated and on reaching the limit the phone was suspended. We hadn't been advised that this would happen and absolutely nothing on the phone works at that stage. How useless is that! This was not what I requested and why wasn't it explained to us. Poor service, poor after sales. I lodged a complaint with Vodacom last week and am still waiting for a phone call to discuss the matter. Very disappointing Vodacom. My own upgrade is due this month and I will most certainly be changing to a different network and will migrate the other 3 contracts I have as soon as possible!
