Set limit was ignored

After I had set a limit of R400 on my account I was charged in the region of R700. When I queried this I received the following response: " With call limits as per the disclaimer, there is no guarantee that the call limit will prevent excessive usage. With data, the call limit only kicks in after the session has terminated and if doing a download for example, the usage will already be exceeded and only prevent usage upon the next data session initiated."

I feel that the billing system of Vodacom is unfair. I never received any warning/correspondence that I had exceeded my limit. I feel that as a customer I have been taken advantage of with their unfair billing system.
