Wasn't informed of upgrade waiting period, R637

Good day,
I had been my contract to finish and upgrade to the HTC One - ordered around 16th May. Shipping delays resulted in me only getting the upgrade yesturday Sat 1st June. Since I was a long time Vodacom customer I wasn't particularly upset about the delay and thought that I usually receive good service. However today 2 June after (1) day I went online to check my balances and saw the bill was a shocking R637! Insane as the data use was only about 80mb and the contract included 250mb.

Contacting customer services on 111 I was informed that they were still using my 'old' contract which did not include data bundles as it was a BB contract using BIS and that it would take a month for my new contract to be fully activated. I thus inferred that you charged me out of bundle data rates because you were still billing me on my old contract terms. This is highly disingenuous as 1) was not informed by Smartcom Vodacom at Vodaworld that this would be the case (who in their right mind would pay R637 A DAY knowingly. 2) My upgrade was late as it is due to Vodacom not having stock.

If I do not here from you within a day re resolving the bill please consider this a notice to terminate.
