Telkom's load shedding or a lack of competence??

A fault report was submitted in April. This was not addressed and a follow up in May13 resulted in an escalation but still no action from Telkom. A visit to the local office on May 18 revealed that the fault was closed although the problem was not resolved. Another call - another escalation, the second in one week but still no action. Another phone call on 23 May and new fault report opened to be prioritized and that they will call. No commitment was given to time frames for resolving the problem - apparently Telkom practice. No action was taken but an SMS to say that the problem was in hand with the tech repair division. A follow up made on 29 May - advised that a technician was working on the fault. On 29 May at 18:35 the dialing tone was there but lasted for less than 10 minutes. The fault was back again and still is. What kind of service is Telkom providing? Is it because of a market monopoly?
