End of April I phoned Cell C direct to take out a new cell phone contract with them. My current contract with Vodacom had expired and I requested that Cell C assisted me in moving over to their network while retaining my current cell phone number. I was advised that my application had been accepted and a number port would take place. Furthermore my new phone would be delivered within 14working days. I had no more feedback from Cell C. On the 17th May I received an SMS telling me my port had been rejected. I continued to try to get hold of Sharon, the sales consultant, to educate me as to what the process was going forward to which I had no joy as she continually told me she would call me back. This never materialised (4x). In the interim I cancelled my contract entirely with Vodacom and asked them that they move me to a Pay as you Go from the 1stJune. Again I had to call Sharon continually to convey this information to her so that they could proceed with my application. As of yesterday I began leaving messages for Lizelle deVilliers, the manager, who I was promised would call me back. To date I'm still waiting to get one phone call from Cell C with answers. Nice start Cell C...
