CELL C WANTS ME TO PAY R250 TO KEEP MY CELL C NO!!

I applied for a contract telephonically with a consultant called Mpho, she herself provided me with poor service but as i needed the phone i went ahead and concluded the contract, on receiving the cell phone i called cell c to activate the phone as well as to advise them that i would like to keep my prepaid CELL C number, first i was told its IMPOSSIBLE but nonetheless they will open a case for me, a day later i received a call telling me i will have to pay R250 because at the time of concluding my contract i had to have tell them i want to keep my number. i complained about this and a day later i got a call telling me the same thing.

I feel that Mpho should have asked me if i would like to keep my number while going through the t's and c's and further she should have advised me that if i opt to change my number after delivery it will come at a costs.i mean really, this is cell c to cell c!! i can not have two numbers or worse go through the admin of calling my bank etc to change to a new number. i have now requested they take the phone back and Cell c has agreed!! Frankly it will costs more money for them to deliver&collect this phone!! #Disappointed and moving to MTN or VODA
