I recently had a very bad experience with Karuna Ramlingam (Manager) at Cell C, Ballito, Lifestyle centre. I wanted to port my Vodacom number on to my current cell c account, I was told by numerous individuals who work at various Cell C stores as well as Cell C customer care consultants that this transportation is indeed possible. Once I've ask Karuna to port my Vodacom number to my current cell c account I had to pay R150 for a new sim, thinking this is the standard process. After 24 hours I inserted the sim - and to my disappointment my Vodacom number is on a pre-paid package of cell c NOT on my CURRENT Cell C contract. After big fight and you are more than willing to draw the recordings Karuna promised my dad and myself that she will reverse this transportation the next day, I am still waiting for her as this was more than a week ago. This is not acceptable as I had to suffer the lost form one of Cell C's manager. A manager that clearly doesn't know how Cell C works or how to communicate to customers. Karuna lacks professionalism in all areas.. She never responded, clearly she doesn't care about the ethos that Cell C put forward.
