I have a contract with cell c of R200 a month. I missed a debit in March due to the fact that my pay day had changed. I called them to find out if they can reconnect my services as they had suspended them. The agent told me she would only do that when they received the payment of R200. So I went on to ask her to change my debit date to the last day of the month. She claimed that it is done and would only be effective from the following month (May). Then I also asked her to rather double-debit me that current month (April) because I don't have time to go to the bank and make a direct deposit. Fine. So the agreement was that in April I would be double-debited and my debit order date change would be effective from the end of May. To my suprise, I was debited in the middle of April, in which case there were no funds and therefore accumulated a charge of R115. Then I was double-debited on the 25th as I had agreed. Now in May, they tried to debit on the 25th, whereas I had changed it to the last day of the month. I have accumulated another charge of R115. I spoke to Mponeng Mfihleli who was of no help. She said her manager Siya Mhlauli would call me before 10 and I'm still waiting!!!
