8ta no coverage in supposed 3g area

Recently applied for the 10GB Anytime Data and 10GB Night SurferData Plan. Would be a great deal if I can actually get a signal. Currently using my backup Vodacom sim card with same router to surf and it's fast! 8ta? takes an hour to download roughly 30MB and times out when trying to open Google??? Checked my area before taking out the contract to see if it has 3g coverage and according to 8ta it does, but I am lucky if I can get a signal and if I do it lasts about 2 seconds. Want to cancel contract asap.
