Ecently i have taken out 2 contracts, uncapped light with a WiFi modem, Samsung galaxy S3 on MTN anytime.
both my phone and modem receive horrible download speed where ever i go. on average i get 100 bytes - 10 kilo bytes per second. even when the signal is shown as 4-5 bars HSPA / HSPA .

i have been trying to get answers from mtn relating to what the problem is and how it can or will be fixed.

i have already contacted the following departments
-Customer Care
-Data
-Technical
-Coverage

i do not get any straight answers from them.
data departments says my modems sim card is not active, technical says both my modem and phones sim cards aren't active, customer care says both are active. coverage says i have enough coverage and strong signal in my area.

i also check for coverage and i have full HSPA coverage in my work area and around my house. one of the coverage consultants even mention that there is a tower not to far from my area so i should have really good signal and download speed.

need these problems fixed asap, this is unacceptable service for the amount of money i pay for these contracts.
